AI Engineer

AI Engineer | Up to £98,000 | London (Hybrid)

High-growth FinTech looking to hire 2 AI Engineers to build AI-powered internal products that automate operational workflows across high-impact business functions.

You'll work closely with operational teams to identify manual, repetitive processes and rapidly build intelligent tools that reduce analyst workload, improve decision making, and streamline complex workflows using modern AI technologies.

This is a highly hands-on role where you'll prototype, build and iterate quickly, connecting APIs, internal systems, workflow automation platforms and LLMs to deliver solutions that solve real business problems.

The environment is fast-paced, collaborative and product-focused, with a strong emphasis on ownership, experimentation and shipping value quickly.

Stack: Python, LLMs, Cursor, Claude Code, n8n, APIs, Retool

What do you need?

• Commercial experience building with Python
• Experience using LLMs and AI-assisted development tools
• Comfortable working with APIs and integrating multiple systems
• A bias towards shipping products quickly and solving real-world problems
• Exposure to workflow automation or internal tooling is highly desirable
