Kotlin/JVM Software Junior Engineer

A globally known payments/digital banking company are looking for a Junior Software Engineer with a passion for backend development to join a growing team building digital insurance products used by hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide. You'll work with modern technologies, collaborate with experienced engineers, and help deliver innovative solutions across travel, insurance, and financial services.

What You'll Be Doin

• gBuild and deliver software from concept through to production
• .Develop backend services using Kotlin/JVM and Java
• .Design and integrate APIs and microservices
• .Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
• .Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders across the business
• .Contribute to both greenfield projects and enhancements of existing platforms

What We're Looking F

• orCommercial experience or strong academic background in Java and/or Kotli
• n.Understanding of APIs, web applications, and service-oriented architecture
• s.Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamental
• s.Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redi
• s.Familiarity with Git and modern development practice
• s.Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindse
