Product Designer - BB (UI/UX)

Job Description

BetterBugs is looking for a Product Designer who can craft intuitive, elegant, and highly functional experiences for developers, QA teams, and engineering organizations.

You will play a key role in shaping the future of bug reporting, debugging, and developer productivity workflows.

As a Product Designer, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and leadership to translate complex technical workflows into simple, delightful user experiences.

You should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment, taking ownership of design decisions, and contributing across the entire product lifecycle—from discovery and research to polished production ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end user experiences across BetterBugs products and platforms.

Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.

Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable components.

Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation quality.

Simplify complex developer and QA workflows through thoughtful UX decisions.

Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.

Work closely with stakeholders to define product requirements and user journeys.

Maintain consistency across web applications, browser extensions, and future product offerings.

Contribute to product strategy through user-centered thinking and design insights.

What We're Looking For

2-3 years of experience designing digital products, preferably B2B SaaS applications.

Strong portfolio showcasing product thinking, UX problem-solving, and polished visual design.

Proficiency in Figma and modern design workflows.

Ability to understand technical products and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.

Experience working in startup environments is a plus.

Familiarity with developer tools, QA platforms, or engineering workflows is highly desirable.

Qualification

Bachelorʼs degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)

Strong portfolio demonstrating SaaS and product design work

Candidates with exceptional portfolios will be considered regardless of formal education
