Senior NodeJS Engineer

We are looking for a Senior NodeJS Engineer to assist with Salesforce's transition from MuleSoft APIs, guiding a team of EPAM engineers in modernizing enterprise-scale cloud architectures and ensuring top-tier software delivery.

Kindly note that this role supports remote work, but only from within Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a communication bridge between EPAM team operations and the Salesforce team
• Debug, test, and deploy code to maintain high quality
• Own CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code processes
• Examine code and modify it to fulfill project needs
• Create and maintain documentation for both code and processes
• Run unit, integration, and performance tests to confirm the reliability and performance of new code
• Work alongside team members to deliver fully functional solutions

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in software development, emphasizing JavaScript/Node.js and cloud technologies
• English skills at the B2 level
• Command of the JavaScript/Node.js programming language
• Deep knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, EKS, and S3
• Understanding of DynamoDB and cloud-native architectures
• Acquaintance with back-end development
• Grasp of testing frameworks along with practical experience in automated testing
• Abilities with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and GitHub Actions
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• A minimum of six months of experience using AI tools for code generation, debugging, and testing such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and EPAM AI Run
• Adaptability to leverage AI tools and adjust to AI-assisted workflows
• English skills at the B2 level or above
