About the role

P2P is a critical gateway connecting users with local payment markets. You will own Gate’s P2P product across transaction growth, merchant supply, order matching, fund protection, and dispute resolution. Your goal is to improve liquidity and transaction conversion while maintaining strong controls over fraud, compliance, and fund safety.

What we're looking for

• You have owned a P2P or OTC product from discovery and design through launch and continuous iteration
• You understand merchant operations, including onboarding, segmentation, incentives, performance management, and offboarding
• You have worked on liquidity management and know how merchant supply, pricing competitiveness, payment coverage, and ad ranking affect transaction conversion
• You understand the complete P2P transaction journey, including matching, payment confirmation, fund custody, risk controls, appeals, and arbitration
• You can balance growth and user experience against fraud exposure, compliance requirements, and operational cost
• You use data to identify problems, set priorities, and coordinate multiple teams to deliver measurable improvements

Nice-to- haves

• Experience operating P2P products across multiple countries, currencies, or payment methods
• Familiarity with AML monitoring, merchant risk strategies, or transaction-fraud prevention
• Experience applying AI capabilities to product features, risk operations, or customer-service workflows
