Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Game Developer (Java / libGDX) to work on a contract basis. The role involves developing and maintaining game applications using Java and the libGDX framework. Responsibilities include implementing game mechanics, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain game applications using Java and the libGDX framework.

• Implement game mechanics, including physics, AI, and user interactions.

• Optimize game performance for smooth gameplay across different platforms.

• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to integrate assets and features.

• Debug and resolve issues in game code to ensure stability and functionality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java programming with experience in game development.

• Experience with the libGDX framework for cross-platform game development.

• Strong understanding of game mechanics and algorithms.

• Ability to optimize game performance and resolve technical issues.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
