Data Engineer

We're partnering with a product-focused technology company in the renewable energy sector that is using data to drive smarter decisions and support the transition to a more sustainable future.

As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Data Engineer to help build and develop their Azure-based data platform, enabling analytics, reporting and future AI initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integrations.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Work with large datasets across operational and business systems.
• Design and optimise data models, lakes and warehouses.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Analytics teams.
• Ensure data quality, reliability and performance across the platform.

What We're Looking For:

• Commercial experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong Azure data engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of Python and/or PySpark.

Nice to Have

• Experience within energy, sustainability or IoT environments.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
• Azure certifications.
