Assistant App is a mobile app company focused on building faith-tech products, including our flagship app Muslim App, which serves 3M+ monthly active users globally. We also operate multiple apps across the same ecosystem and continue to scale fast.

We have product ideas, a roadmap, and users waiting. What we need is someone who can take a feature from zero to production — and actually own what happens after it ships.

We Are Not Looking For Someone Who

Waits for a ticket to be assigned
Says "it works on my machine"
Considers a PR merged as "done"

We want the person who, when something breaks at 11 PM, has already seen the Crashlytics alert and is fixing it.

What You Will Do (No Buzzwords, Just Reality)

You will build and ship Flutter applications for iOS and Android. That's the job. More specifically:

Architect and deliver high-performance, scalable mobile applications using Flutter — end-to-end, from design handoff to App Store and Google Play
Integrate deeply with the Firebase ecosystem (Firestore, Auth, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Cloud Functions)
Write clean, testable Dart code and apply solid architectural patterns and state management approaches throughout the codebase
Continuously monitor and improve app performance, crash rates, and user experience post-release
Conduct code reviews that genuinely improve code quality — and mentor junior developers along the way
Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to shape features from concept to production
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines so shipping is never a manual process
Catch performance problems before users do
Make decisions when requirements are unclear, and document them
Flag problems early instead of quietly hoping they go away

What We Are Looking For

6+ years of professional Flutter / Dart experience — you have shipped multiple live apps to production on both App Store and Google Play, not just personal projects
Proficiency across the Firebase ecosystem (Firestore, Auth, Remote Config, FCM, Analytics)
Deep state management expertise (Riverpod, Bloc, Provider, or similar — and you have a strong opinion on why)
Strong Flutter internals: widget lifecycle, rendering pipeline, performance optimization
Proficiency with CI/CD workflows for mobile (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or similar) and Git-based development practices
Clean code mindset: architectural patterns, testability, and performance are non-negotiable for you
You notice when the UI is 2px off. And it bothers you.

Nice to Have

Backend development experience with Node.js / NestJS or Next.js
Database experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB
Familiarity with cloud and deployment platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Render, or similar
Experience with automation / workflow tools such as n8n
Worked on high-traffic products serving an international user base
Multi-language and RTL localization experience
Deployed and managed services on Google Cloud Platform
Worked in a startup or small team where there was no one else to hand things off to
