As Frontend Developer - Design System & Accessibility, you will:
- Together with the Design System team you will be responsible for enabling numerous product teams across our international lotteries to create best-in-class experiences for the players who use our websites and web-based apps.
- You will do this by contributing to and improving our Design System component library, as well as advising and supporting the teams using the Design System.
- As the team's web accessibility specialist, you will also take a lead role in improving the accessibility of our design system, including associated tooling and processes.
- Actively contribute to improvements in user experience and solve technical challenges.
- Keep up with new developments in Frontend technologies and integrate them into our projects.
- You have extensive front end development experience, with at least 3 years in a relevant role; extensive HTML, CSS, Typescript and React experience is a must.
- You are an expert in web accessibility who knows their way around WCAG guidelines and screen readers, and you have played a key role in improving accessibility compliance and processes in a previous job.
- You are experienced with modern development tooling and methodologies, such as Agile, continuous integration and deployment, automated testing, Git version control – and you love a good feedback loop.
- Experience with the following will also be an advantage: design systems, NPM libraries, Tailwind, SASS, Jest, Storybook, functional programming, NPM, front end build tooling, front end frameworks, AWS, cloud infrastructure, monitoring.
- You are detail oriented. In the Design System team it is often necessary to put additional effort into achieving that extra 5%, so you should be someone who gets satisfaction from precision in your work.
- A monthly salary indication between €5.000,- and €6.500,- based on a 40-hour week and flexible working hours.
