Microsoft Software Architect / Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to design, lead, and deliver enterprise-grade software solutions based on Microsoft technologies. Our future collaborator will be responsible for defining technical architecture, guiding development teams as well as tracking project development process, ensuring software quality and security, and driving the adoption of modern cloud-native and event-driven architectures. This role requires a strong combination of hands-on technical expertise, architectural vision, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience building scalable web-based platforms, integrating enterprise applications, and designing distributed systems using Azure and Microsoft technology stacks.

Key Responsibilities

* Defining, designing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance software architectures ;

* Leading the design and implementation of different design patterns such as : Microservices architectures, Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), Event-driven architectures, Model-Driven Design principles, MVC-based web applications ;

* Producing architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications using UML and other modelling techniques ;

* Establishing architecture standards, development guidelines, and best practices across projects ;

* Ensuring software solutions align with business requirements, scalability needs, and enterprise architecture standards ;

* Providing technical leadership and mentoring to development teams ;

* Participating in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making ;

* Guiding teams in adopting modern development practices and cloud-native solutions ;

* Designing and implementing integrations between web applications, enterprise systems, and ERP platforms around business flows ;

* Defining integration patterns using APIs, web services, messaging systems, and event-based communication ;

* Ensuring reliable and scalable data exchange across distributed systems ;

* Incorporating secure-by-design principles into solution architectures ;

* Identifying cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and appropriate mitigation strategies ;

* Supporting DevSecOps practices and CI/CD implementation ;

* Contributing to infrastructure automation, containerization, and cloud deployment strategies ;

* Ensuring compliance with development, security, and operational standards ;

* Maintaining comprehensive technical and architecture documentation ;

* Supporting project planning, estimation, risk assessment, and delivery activities ;

* Tracking project development progress and provide technical oversight throughout the software lifecycle ;

* Driving continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices

Required Qualifications

* +10 years of experience and at least 5 years of experience as a Software Architect, Solution Architect or similar role ;

* Proven experience designing complex enterprise web-based systems using Microsoft technologies ;

* Experience leading development teams and driving architectural decisions ;

* Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem ;

* Proven experience architecting and delivering cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Azure services and Azure DevOps to support scalable, secure, and highly available applications ;

* Extensive knowledge of software architecture principles and patterns, including Micro-services, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Event-Driven Architecture, Model-Driven Design, and MVC-based application development ;

* Hands-on experience designing and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s), with a strong understanding of orchestration, scalability, and operational best practices ;

* Strong background in defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps and related automation tools ;

* Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust system integrations, including REST APIs, web services, messaging solutions, and integrations with ERP and other enterprise platforms ;

* Solid experience in database architecture, data modelling, and performance optimization, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database environments ;

* Strong understanding of modern front-end application development, including Single Page Applications (SPA) built with Angular and/or React, as well as HTML5, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and TypeScript technologies ;

* Knowledge of secure software development practices, including application security, identity and access management, threat mitigation, and cybersecurity best practices ;

* Excellent ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while maintaining high standards of performance, maintainability, security, and reliability ;

* Fluency in English (C1) is mandatory
