Data Insights Lead

Strategic Insights Lead required to drive data-informed decision-making across the organisation.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with excellent communication skills, translating complex data into meaningful recommendations that influence business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Insights & Analytic

• Analyse business, customer, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights
• Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, programmes, and activities using quantitative and qualitative data
• Develop insight-led recommendations that support performance improvement and strategic objectives
• Monitor external trends and emerging best practices to inform decision-making

Reporting & Data Storytelling

• Produce clear, concise, and impactful reports, dashboards, and presentations for a variety of stakeholders
• Translate complex analytical findings into compelling narratives that support decision-making
• Develop case studies and success stories that demonstrate the value of data-driven approaches

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing insight and recommendations to support key decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, efficiency, and performance

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance analytical capabilities, reporting processes, and insight generation
• Champion a culture of evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement

Skills, Experience & Qualification

• 3+ years' experience in a data, analytics, business intelligence, or insights-focused rol
• Degree qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skill
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audience
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholder

Desirabable

• Experience with SQL, Python, R, VBA, or other analytical tool
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting, experimentation, or performance measurement framework
• Experience working with customer, market, or operational data
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement
