About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented People & Culture Coordinator to join our Sydney CBD team. This role supports the full employee lifecycle and plays a key role in shaping employee experience, culture, and organisational effectiveness.
You will contribute across multiple areas of People & Culture including employee engagement, benefits design support, performance review coordination, KPI tracking, onboarding, internal communications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working closely with the P&C team and business stakeholders, you will help drive a consistent, high-quality employee experience and support the ongoing development of our people processes and culture.
This role is ideal for HR professional (2–3 years’ experience) looking to grow across both operational HR and people experience design.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Experience, Culture & Engagement
- Coordinate and deliver employee engagement, wellbeing, and cultural initiatives that foster a positive and connected workplace.
- Plan and manage company events, recognition programs, team building activities, and employee experience initiatives.
- Create and manage engaging content across internal platforms to promote employee benefits, wellbeing programs, and People & Culture initiatives.
- Develop internal communications and campaigns that strengthen employee awareness, participation, and sense of belonging.
- Gather employee feedback and insights to identify opportunities for enhancing employee experience and workplace culture.
- Champion company values and contributes to initiatives that support a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
Benefits & Employee Experience
- Manage the administration and communication of employee benefits programs.
- Review employee benefits and wellbeing offerings regularly, providing recommendations for enhancements based on employee feedback and market practices.
- Coordinate employee experience programs to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the business.
- Monitor utilisation and effectiveness of employee benefits and engagement initiatives.
Performance & Employee Development
- Coordinate performance review processes across the employee lifecycle.
- Support managers and employees in the effective implementation of performance management practices.
- Maintain performance-related documentation, reporting, and process governance.
- Identify opportunities to enhance employee development and performance management frameworks.
- Contribute to initiatives that strengthen employee capability, growth, and organisational performance.
Learning & Onboarding
- Manage onboarding activities to ensure a positive and consistent new hire experience.
- Coordinate mandatory training, compliance learning, and development programs.
- Maintain onboarding materials, learning paths, and internal knowledge bases.
- Monitor training completion and learning participation across the company.
People Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data integrity.
- Generate regular HR metrics and reports, including headcount, turnover, engagement, training, and performance data.
- Identify opportunities to improve People & Culture processes, systems, and employee experience.
- Coordinate and deliver People & Culture projects, ensuring milestones and objectives are achieved.
- Contribute to organisational improvement initiatives through data analysis, employee feedback, and process enhancement recommendations.
Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in People & Culture, Human Resources, People Operations, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating employee engagement, culture, wellbeing, or employee experience initiatives is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A people-oriented individual who enjoys building relationships and creating positive employee experiences.
- High attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.
- Mandarin language proficiency would be advantageous.
