ADNOC Trading (AT) is looking for an ambitious and motivated Senior Specialist – Quantitative Analysis to join its Middle Office team in Abu Dhabi.

Job Purpose


The Senior Specialist, Quantitative Analysis will provide advanced quantitative expertise and analytical insights to support trading decisions, pricing strategies, and risk management across trading desks.

This role works closely with traders, analysts, and digital teams to develop models, enhance data capabilities, and drive innovation in trading analytics.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop, implement, and maintain quantitative models and analytical tools to support trading and risk decisions
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis and statistical modeling to identify market trends and pricing dynamics
  • Collect, validate, and manage large datasets ensuring quality and integrity
  • Enhance data processes and improve analytics frameworks
  • Collaborate with traders and risk teams to optimize portfolios and hedging strategies
  • Integrate models into trading systems and workflows
  • Support accurate reporting and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
  • Master’s degree is preferred
  • 6+ years’ experience in data/quantitative analysis, ideally within trading or financial environments
  • Experience in commodity trading or energy markets is strongly preferred
  • Strong programming skills (Python, C++, R, Julia, or similar)
  • Advanced knowledge of statistics and quantitative methods
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Python dashboards)
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment
