About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and people-focused Onboarding Specialist to join the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new employees, ensuring they are well-prepared and supported throughout their transition into the organization.


Working closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Hiring Managers you will coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities while maintaining a high standard of employee experience and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance through successful integration.
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules and ensure all pre-boarding activities are completed on time.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, Facilities, Security, and Hiring Managers, to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Prepare and distribute onboarding documentation, welcome materials, and employment-related communications.
  • Schedule and facilitate new hire orientation sessions and onboarding programs.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and follow up with new employees and managers to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentation in HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant employment regulations.
  • Respond to new hire queries promptly and provide ongoing support throughout the onboarding journey.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and contribute to continuous enhancement initiatives.
  • Track onboarding metrics and prepare reports as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in onboarding, HR Operations, Human Resources, or employee experience.
  • Strong knowledge of onboarding best practices and HR administrative processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional, proactive, and customer-service oriented approach.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a large, multinational, or technology-focused organization.
  • Familiarity with UAE employment practices and onboarding procedures.
  • Experience supporting high-volume hiring or international employee onboarding.
