Embedded Software Engineer

Our client is a well-established Norwegian engineering company with a strong international footprint, delivering control systems and hardware solutions to maritime and industrial markets worldwide.

They're broadening their product offering, shifting from component-level supply to fully integrated systems, and are putting fresh investment into R&D to support that shift. It's a period of real growth, and this hire will have genuine influence over how the next generation of products gets built.

The role:

You'll take on a wide-ranging technical role spanning sensor firmware development, system integration tooling, and a degree of hardware analysis. It's a hands-on position with real ownership, working on products deployed around the world.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of firmware development experience, ideally gained in an industrial setting
• Expert-level C/C++
• Hands-on experience with RTOS
• Track record of building firmware for physical products
• Comfortable wearing many hats — supporting operations, procurement, and manufacturing as needed
• Willing to mentor other developers
