Overview

Looking for a seasoned and creative Frontend Engineer to design & build front end applications by implementing visual elements in web applications and translating UI/UX design wireframes into programming language to deliver innovative frontend engineering solutions that are stable, high-performing, secure, accessible and measurably profitable for Presight Analytics' customers.

To play a critical role in the development of powerful data solutions & information products at Presight Analytics—an AI-driven, rapidly growing, high-visibility of Presight that delivers cutting edge, next-gen analytics products for the international market.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Frontend Engineering, Analytics, you will provide expertise in the advanced knowledge of applications programming, ensure that application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint, and design fully responsive applications by writing clean, tested, modular and well-documented code.

Functional

• Develop optimal solutions to enhance user experience, optimizing maximum speed, scalability and technical feasibility.
• Document software deliverables through use cases, design documents and technical specifications by helping with story creation, user acceptance criteria, QA and overall end-to-end testing.
• Understand libraries, patterns and platforms required to implement web applications in a lucid, structured and scalable manner.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
• Partner with multiple teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
• Participate in design and architecture reviews and offer inputs for improvements.
• Understand complex business requirements and provide innovative & apt technical solutions.
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop creative, profitable solutions.
• Open to travel as per business requirements
  
  

Skills And Attributes For Success

The yardsticks of your performance would include cost savings achieved, number of data systems adhering to architecture standards, adherence to policies, procedures & quality standards, number of innovations/POCs deployed, database throughput, and customer NPS.

Qualifications

To qualify, you must have

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related field
• 3-4 years of experience in front end web development
• At least 3 years of experience in building robust web applications in an AI/big data service organization or analytics industry
• Strong computer science and basic algorithms knowledge.
• Knowledge of web fundamentals: HTML5/CSS3, protocols, modern web standards
• Expert knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience building single page applications with React, or any other component-based framework
• Strong understanding of state management in front end apps, production experience working with MobX or Redux
• Experience in media operations in browser (Canvas, Audio and Video APIs)
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc)
• Strong knowledge about programming principles (SOLID)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs design
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Open to travel as per business requirements
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also need

• Experience with popular UI component libraries. Ideally Ant Design
• Experience with WebGL/WebAssembly
• Experience with DevOps tasks like CI/CDExperience in cloud infrastructure and reliability engineering
• A passion for the latest developments in front end programming
• In-depth market and domain knowledge
• A curious, creative and inventive bent of mind
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
