We’re looking for a Senior Engineer who thrives in a high-ownership environment and wants to work closely with a small, ambitious team.

About the Role

You will take real ownership of significant parts of the platform. This means designing and building robust, scalable services while making thoughtful architectural decisions.

You’ll work at the intersection of system design and hands-on implementation.

We expect you to think beyond individual features and care about the long-term health, maintainability, and clarity of the system.

Use modern AI-assisted development tools extensively. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable in this environment and who writes clear, well-structured code that is easy for both humans and AI tools to understand and work with.

Key Responsibilities

• System design and Architecture first thinking
• Write clean, structured code optimized for AI
• Build real AI systems in a small, high-ownership team
• Work hands-on with AI infrastructure and intelligent workflows
• Ownership (no layers of process)
• Heavy use of modern AI-assisted development tools

What We’re Looking For

• Strong backend experience (ideally 7+ years) and is comfortable taking ownership of complex systems
• Thinks architecturally and cares about building systems that remain clean and reliable overtime
• Writes clear, well-structured code that is easy for other engineers (and AI tools) to work with
• Enjoys working in a small team where high ownership and technical quality
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools as part of their daily workflows
• Has solid production experience with Python
