Senior Network Engineer

We are currently to a Senior Network Engineer for my client based in Geneva :

• The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and

optimizing the global network infrastructure.

• Key duties include managing data centers, Azure network environments, and vendor

relationships.

• The role involves strategic planning, capacity assessment, and the development of

network policies and disaster recovery plans.

• Responsibilities encompass the deployment and maintenance of LAN/WAN/WLAN

architectures, firewalls, and VPNs, as well as ensuring high availability, performance

monitoring, and security audits.

• The engineer will lead network-related projects, provide 3rd level support, manage on-

call duties outside office hours, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including

cybersecurity and DevOps.

Profile

• The ideal candidate is a Senior Network Engineer with at least 8 years of hands-on

experience in enterprise network engineering.

• They must hold a CCNA certification, with CCNP preferred.
• Technical expertise must include Cisco/HP networking technologies, Microsoft Azure,

routing, switching, wireless networking, and network security solutions such as Fortinet

firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.

• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and Enterprise Architecture concepts is required.
• The candidate should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills,

with the ability to manage projects, coordinate with vendors, and provide 3rd level

support.

• Excellent fluency in both English and French is mandatory, along with the availability to

provide on-call support outside of business hours.
