Role Overview

The AI Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing AI-driven solutions, with a focus on document intelligence, automation, and scalable AI workflows.

Aligned to an outcome-based delivery model, the role ensures AI capabilities are production-ready, validated, and integrated into enterprise systems to deliver measurable business value.

Work setup

Full remote

Travel: 4 days per month to Reading, UK (Customer office near London). The tenure and the cost will be billed to the customer

Collaboration type

B2B or CIM contract (initial 6 – month period, with possibility of extension. Full- time engagement)

Skills

Mandatory

• Experience developing and deploying AI or machine learning solutions
• Strong programming and analytical skills
• Understanding of model validation, performance, and governance
• Experience integrating AI into production systems
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps teams
  
  

Qualifications

Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience

Scope

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, ingestion processes, and transformations
• Design and build AI-driven workflows for document extraction and processing
• Develop and integrate AI pipelines into enterprise applications
• Support scaling of AI capabilities across datasets and use cases
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data governance, and security standards
• Collaborate with data, platform, and application teams to deliver integrated solutions
  
  

Delivery

• Build and optimize AI pipelines for extraction, transformation, and validation
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and performance of AI outputs
• Implement validation frameworks and tracking for AI model performance
• Deploy AI services through secure APIs into production environments
• Embed QA and governance practices into AI development lifecycle
• Support continuous improvement of AI models and workflows

• Experience with AI/ML workflows and document intelligence solutions
• Strong programming skills (Python, APIs, data processing frameworks)
• Experience with cloud-based AI services and scalable architectures
• Understanding of model validation, accuracy, and lifecycle management

• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, testing, and optimisation of AI pipelines
• Use AI techniques to improve automation, extraction accuracy, and operational efficiency

• Ensure responsible and secure use of AI technologies in line with enterprise policies
• Continuously explore emerging AI capabilities to enhance delivery outcomes
