Eaton’s footprint in Romania is well-placed to help our customers across a wide range of power-intensive industries navigate the transition to a zero-carbon future. We are undergoing the most significant transformation in our 110-year history and our sites in Romania make no exception!

We debuted on the local market more than 15 years ago and now we have three important business units with more than 3.000 employees:

• Critical Systems production site in Arad,
• two Power Management Control Components production sites in Busag and Sârbi, close to Baia-Mare, Maramureș,
• Electrical Sales business with the largest office in Bucharest.

In Eaton’s production plant in Arad we manufacture safety systems protecting both persons and buildings, emergency notification systems and electrical systems designed for hazardous areas.

We are proud that our plant in Arad was recognized with the World Class Plant Award in the past few years and was EHS Award Winner rewarded by the Green Up Steering Committee for Indoor LED lighting changes with environmental Impact.
