A rare opportunity has come up for an ambitious and experienced Senior Data Analyst (with Pandas) to join an amazing, growing, global investment company that is just opening its new office in Warsaw (the first in Poland)!

As a Senior Data Analyst on our Data Platform Team, you will be part of a dedicated group focused on creating an exceptional data experience for our investment staff, who access data through API, Excel, or ChatGPT access points. In this role, you will drive data quality and governance, ensuring our datasets are accurate and reliable for investment workflows.

You’ll work on onboarding new datasets and refining existing ones, collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver ‘golden copy’ datasets. We seek individuals who are extremely detail-oriented and committed to ensuring data accuracy.

YOUR ROLE

• be a regional leader, owning the data quality and data governance components of our API
• collaborate with data engineers and managers to integrate and enhance key datasets, ensuring seamless data flow
• develop and implement quality control checks to proactively identify data anomalies and inconsistencies
• build and deploy tools to automate manual data reconciliation tasks, improving operational efficiency
• lead efforts to resolve data issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability across platforms
• write configuration scripts to onboard new datasets and enhance existing ones, improving data accessibility
  
  

If You Are a Person Who Has

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field
• demonstrated experience with data wrangling
• proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Seaborn, and similar)
• experience writing basic-to-intermediate SQL queries for data analysis
• ability to take ownership of specific projects and work independently.
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• experience working with financial data
• previous people management experience is a plus.
