Who We Are
We are Flint SI, an energetic and highly driven IT team based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. We primarily focus on running interactive technical workshops, creating premium learning content, and delivering advanced technology solutions for international customers and partners - including networking, security, data center, cloud, and automation architectures.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to take ownership of our delivery function and play a key role in how we plan, resource, and deliver projects across the business.
This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership role at the heart of our operations. Working closely with Engineering, PMO, and Sales, you'll ensure projects are delivered successfully, resources are effectively utilized, and teams stay aligned from opportunity through execution.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll have the autonomy to drive delivery excellence, support strategic decision-making, and make a meaningful impact on both our clients' success and the continued growth of the business.
Your days will be dynamic as you work across these main areas:
- Project & Portfolio Oversight: Oversee active and upcoming projects, maintain visibility of timelines, resources, and delivery health, support projects without dedicated Project Managers, resolve delivery escalations, and monitor project performance to help ensure delivery targets and profitability goals are achieved.
- Opportunity Support & Presales: Partner with Business Development Managers on new opportunities by contributing to scoping, feasibility assessments, resource planning, estimates, and client presales discussions.
- Resource & Capacity Management: Manage engineer capacity and resource allocation, resolve staffing conflicts, collaborate with Tech and Team Leads, and oversee contractor engagement and resource planning.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Foster strong collaboration across Sales, PMO, Engineering, Team Leads, and clients, facilitating regular portfolio, capacity, and delivery planning discussions.
- Process Improvement & Delivery Governance: Build and improve delivery processes, workflows, and governance frameworks. Improve project tracking, reporting, and operational efficiency, drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
What We Offer
- A key role with real ownership and the opportunity to influence how project delivery is planned and executed across the business.
- Direct collaboration with the CEO and executive leadership team and exposure to strategic business decisions.
- Full-time employment with a 6-month trial period to make sure we are a perfect match.
- Salary ranges from EUR 4,000 to EUR 4,500 gross per month, depending on experience and competencies.
- A structured onboarding experience and ongoing support from experienced colleagues.
- Flexible working hours and a hybrid working model that supports work-life balance.
- The opportunity to work on international projects with leading technology vendors and enterprise customers.
- Continuous learning and professional development in a highly technical environment.
- Additional voluntary pension insurance (PDPZ) to support your long-term financial wellbeing.
- Collective supplementary health insurance (Specialisti) for faster access to specialist medical care and diagnostics.
- A welcoming team that values collaboration, regular get-togethers, and good conversations over a great cup of coffee.
What We Require
- Proven experience managing project delivery, preferably in an ICT, telecommunications, or technology services environment, but not necessary.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across technical and commercial teams.
- Experience collaborating with different teams to successfully plan and execute projects.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional proficiency in English is required, as you'll work closely with international clients, partners, and colleagues.
- As this role involves close collaboration with local teams, proficiency in Slovenian is essential.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are an advantage – but hands-on delivery experience is what matters most.
