Working within our global Supply Chain Management organization, you will take a key role in ensuring that Hisense Europe import and export operations are fully compliant with international trade laws and regulations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Legal, Tax, Logistics, and Finance to design and implement global customs and trade processes that are both secure and efficient.

More about the role:
- Develop, implement, and manage Hisense Group’s global customs and trade compliance strategy
- Ensure all import and export activities comply with international trade regulations, customs laws, and security standards
- Serve as the global point of contact for customs authorities, external service providers, and internal stakeholders
- Lead and manage CBAM compliance activities in line with EU regulatory requirements
- Interpret CBAM legislation, implementing acts, and regulatory guidance
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports via the EU CBAM Transitional Registry
- Develop readiness plans for the definitive phase, including certificate management and cost impact planning
- Oversee the collection, validation, and management of embedded emissions data
- Support and refine emissions calculation methodologies
- Partner with suppliers to improve data quality, completeness, and transparency
- Liaise with third-party consultants and verifiers where required
- Embed CBAM considerations into sourcing and procurement processes
- Monitor ongoing regulatory developments relating to CBAM and EU climate policy
- Identify compliance risks and improvement opportunities
- Oversee correct classification of goods, valuation, and origin determination for customs purposes
- Lead and develop the trade compliance team and align closely with regional customs experts
- Monitor regulatory changes worldwide, assess trade-related risks, and drive proactive actions
- Design and implement training, audits, and awareness programs to strengthen compliance culture
More about you:
Essential Qualifications
- Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Logistics,Environmental Science, Sustainability, Legal,Economics, Public Policy, Law, Business, or related field
- In-depth knowledge of international trade laws, customs procedures, and trade agreements
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and customs/ERP system such as SAP
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing and developing global or regional trade compliance programs
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across diverse functions and regions
- Knowledge of English and additional languages is an advantage ( Slovenian,etc)
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to drive improvement in dynamic environments
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience in CBAM, carbon accounting, sustainability compliance, or trade regulation
- Strong understanding of greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting principles (GHG Protocol / ISO standards desirable)
- Experience working with emissions data, supply chain reporting, or product-level environmental data
- The ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory frameworks
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, Sustainability, and Legal teams
Desirable:
- Familiarity with EU ETS, LCA, or product carbon footprinting
- Experience within manufacturing or energy-intensive environments
- Knowledge of customs processes and trade compliance frameworks
- Sustainability or environmental certifications
