About the Role:

They are looking for a Back-end Engineer to help build and scale production-ready systems, APIs and integrations across its core platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering team on back-end architecture, data integrations, blockchain protocol interactions, security, testing and system reliability. This role would suit someone with strong Golang experience, a security-first mindset and an interest in fintech, institutional finance or Web3 infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build performant, reliable and maintainable back-end systems and APIs.
• Develop complex integrations across multiple data sources, back-end services and blockchain protocols.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code following software engineering best practices.
• Produce clear technical documentation and contribute to strong development standards.
• Embed security best practices across all layers of the technology stack.
• Contribute to end-to-end product architecture and technical decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with the wider engineering team on areas such as DevOps, infrastructure and smart contract integrations.
• Help ensure systems are scalable, observable and suitable for production use.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience building robust back-end systems and APIs.
• Strong commercial or project experience with Golang.
• Good understanding of communication protocols such as REST/HTTP, gRPC, GraphQL and message queues.
• Experience working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with database lifecycle management, including deployment, migrations and backups.
• Strong understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Security-first approach to software engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to think critically.
• Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Clear communicator with the ability to work effectively as part of a small, high-performing team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience deploying and monitoring containerised applications.
• Knowledge of Web3, blockchain integrations or Ethereum infrastructure.
• Experience with the Ethereum stack, including go-ethereum.
• Previous experience in fintech, banking, lending, capital markets or financial infrastructure.
