.NET Developer | Build the Next Generation of a SaaS Platform

The challenge

You'll join a software company in the Randstad area at an exciting point in its journey. Over the coming months, two successful SaaS platforms will be brought together. The backend of both products will be merged into one shared platform, creating a modern, scalable foundation for future growth.

This isn't about simply maintaining existing software. You'll help shape the future architecture, improve existing solutions, and contribute to building a platform that will be used for years to come.

Working in a small and experienced engineering team means you'll have real ownership, short communication lines, and the opportunity to influence technical decisions.

What you'll do

• Develop and enhance backend applications using C# and .NET.
• Build scalable APIs and services with ASP.NET Core.
• Help design and implement the new shared backend architecture.
• Improve existing solutions while gradually modernizing parts of the platform.
• Collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders.
• Contribute ideas on architecture, performance, quality and best practices.

Tech stack

You'll mainly work with C# and .NET, building backend services with ASP.NET Core and REST APIs. Data is stored in SQL Server, while the platform runs in Microsoft Azure. The team works with Git and automated CI/CD pipelines to deliver software efficiently.

On the frontend, Vue.js is the primary framework. Experience with Vue is a plus, but if you've worked with React, Angular or another modern JavaScript framework, we'd also love to hear from you.

The engineering team embraces modern development practices and has a positive mindset towards AI-assisted software development. Experience with AI coding tools or agentic software delivery is a nice bonus, but curiosity and willingness to learn are just as important.
