Baltic Amadeus client is looking for a Business Analyst/ Data Analyst with a solid background in banking or finance to support end-to-end delivery across data and IT transformation initiativesto join the team under a B2B (business-to-business) contract. The role involves translating complex business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements, modeling business processes and logical data flows, and collaborating closely with stakeholders across business, data, and technology teams. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with requirements engineering, data analysis, SQL, and tools such as JIRA and Confluence, and is comfortable working within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document functional, non-functional, and data requirements for system implementation
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders across business, data, and technology teams
• Investigate and model business processes and logical data flows to support system design and decision-making
• Define transformation rules, data mappings, and business logic in collaboration with data engineers and system analysts
• Support data quality assurance and assist in metadata management
• Maintain and evolve requirement templates and delivery artefacts (business requests)
• Proactively identify impacted areas and coordinate impact assessments across teams
• Clarify requirements with business stakeholders and escalate to functional or technical leads when needed
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and suggest optimizations
  
  

Must-Have Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business analysis or related roles across the full software development lifecycle
• Strong domain knowledge in banking or finance, including financial products, processes, and IT systems
• Proven ability in requirements engineering — elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management
• Experience with business process modeling and logical data flow design
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis
• Understanding of data warehousing and reporting/analytics concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office — Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
• Hands-on experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent

Hourly Rate: up to 43 eur/h (Gross). If you have different expectations, please let us know — we are open to discussing compensation based on your skills and experience.
