Job Description

Do you have a solid understanding of inherent and residual risk within the technology domain, including how controls can be applied effectively to enhance an organisation’s residual risk profile?

Are you capable of facilitating technology risk assessments and engaging in constructive discussions with technology and application service owners?

If so, you could be a valuable addition to our team as a Senior Technology Risk and Controls Specialist in the Technology Risk Assessments and Controls (TRAC) team, part of Security, Resiliency and Control – a unit dedicated to keeping Danske Bank safe and secure from technology risk.

As a Senior Technology Risk and Controls Specialist, you will join a team that provides technology risk assessment and advisory services for the bank. Functionally, you will help conduct technology risk assessments with service owners, who are key stakeholders, and support the quality assurance function by ensuring assessments are performed consistently and align with relevant requirements.

You will:

  • Perform Technology risk assessments and quality assurance reviews of completed assessments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal framework and requirements
  • Review quality assurance results to identify common issues, suggest training topics and share findings with the team and stakeholders
  • Advise stakeholders on how to perform technology risk assessment and related processes
  • Support control related activities, including control design, tailoring, and testing, ensuring appropriate alignment between risks and controls
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of technology risk and control management practices, processes, and ways of working

About you:

  • 4+ years’ experience in technology risk and control management
  • Hands-on experience in identifying technology risks and supporting control management across the control lifecycle
  • Experience in roles involving quality assurance activities within the technology risk and control domain
  • Good working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards such as GDPR, DORA, ISF Standard of Good Practice, NIST, PCI DSS, and PSD2
  • Experience working with ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) tooling and JIRA
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technology risks and controls to stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding; advanced English is required and a collaborative mindset is essential

We offer:

Monthly salary range will be from 3200 EUR to 4800 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
