We're looking for a Manual QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our digital products. In this role, you'll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to design and execute test strategies, identify issues early, and contribute to delivering seamless user experiences across our platforms.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on business and technical requirements
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and backlog refinement to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test documentation
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile applications
- Validate new features, system enhancements, and bug fixes before production releases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes, quality standards, and release efficiency
- Monitor product quality metrics and proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Advocate for quality best practices and contribute to building a quality-first engineering culture
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Test Engineer, or in a similar quality assurance role
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices
- Experience with manual testing and a strong interest in or experience with test automation
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
- Experience working with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- A proactive mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality software
- Fluency in English
Bonus points for:
- Experience with UI test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
- Experience testing financial, fintech, or highly regulated applications
