GRC Lead - Own enterprise security governance for a global leader

On behalf of one of our clients, TechHeads is looking for a Group Governance, Risk and compliance lead to establish and oversee the organisation’s governance framework, enterprise risk management and business resilience across the organisation. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape governance frameworks that support a fast-moving global business while ensuring security, compliance and resilience remain at the forefront.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the organisation remains aligned with ISO 27001 and other relevant standards, while embedding security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles across business operations and technology initiatives. Working closely with senior leadership and teams across the organisation, the role helps build and maintain a strong culture of security, compliance and the responsible use of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Security Governance function across the business.
• Review, rewrite and develop security policies aligned with ISO 27001 best practice.
• Own the enterprise risk management framework, covering cyber, operational, enterprise and third-party risk.
• Standardise risk reporting, governance processes and control frameworks across the organisation.
• Strengthen cyber resilience through governance of security controls, vulnerability management, incident governance and assurance activities.
• Support business units in developing and maintaining effective Business Continuity Plans (BCP), ensuring they have the knowledge and frameworks required to deliver.
• Drive governance around AI, ensuring responsible adoption while meeting regulatory, audit and risk management requirements.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

Requirements:

• 7+ year’s experience previous in GRC, Information Security or Cyber Risk roles.
• Proven experience implementing ISO 27001 and working within certified ISMS environments.
• Strong enterprise-scale governance and risk experience within large, complex organisations.
• Technical understanding of cyber security, with the ability to assess how governance decisions impact the wider business.
• Experience leading enterprise, cyber and operational risk management programmes.
• Knowledge of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and organisational resilience.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor) desirable.

Candidate must currently be located in Ireland and hold an EU Passport or Stamp 4 Visa.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 DOE
