Project Manager – Energy & Data Infrastructure – Germany


Excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading international engineering contractor delivering complex, high-value energy infrastructure and data centre projects across Germany. This position offers the opportunity to take full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, working alongside multidisciplinary teams on major HV, MV and mission-critical developments.


Location: Germany

Salary: €90,000 - €120,000 (Depending on experience)


Job Description


The Resolute Group is working in partnership with an international engineering contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of high-voltage electrical infrastructure, substations, renewable energy and data centre projects across Germany.


The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest standards of safety, quality and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across complex engineering environments.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the delivery of electrical infrastructure and mission-critical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, commercial, procurement, construction and commissioning functions.
  • Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, resources and delivery schedules.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  • Support tendering activities, project planning and mobilisation for new projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations, commercial objectives and programme milestones.
  • Promote a strong health, safety, quality and environmental culture across all project activities.
  • Manage project risks, change control and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, reporting regularly on programme, cost, quality and risk.
  • Lead project meetings and drive collaboration across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve project delivery and operational performance.


Requirements


  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale electrical infrastructure, substations, renewable energy, transmission & distribution or data centre projects.
  • Previous experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, contracts and financial performance.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and client relationships throughout project delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple disciplines and resolve complex technical and commercial challenges.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety and quality requirements within EPC or engineering environments.
  • Fluent German and English language skills are essential.
