💡 Overview

We're looking for a Lead Mobile Engineer to take ownership of ScorePlay's mobile application, a key part of our product experience used by sports organizations worldwide. As our senior / lead mobile engineer, you'll drive the technical direction and roadmap of the app, built almost entirely in React Native. This is a role for someone who wants both autonomy and impact, someone eager to own the mobile product end-to-end while collaborating across product, design, and backend teams.

🧠 What You'll Work On

• Mobile Development
• Design, build, and maintain our React Native application, ensuring a smooth and performant user experience across platforms.
• Own the mobile architecture and make key technical decisions as the app evolves.
• Product & Roadmap Ownership
• Help shape the mobile roadmap in close collaboration with product and design.
• Translate product vision into concrete technical plans and ship iteratively.
• Performance & Reliability
• Monitor app performance, crash rates, and user experience metrics.
• Optimize for speed, stability, and scalability as usage grows.
• Collaboration & Delivery
• Partner with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver seamless features.
• Help bridge the gap between mobile, backend, and infrastructure teams.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement
• Test, debug, and review code to ensure functionality, performance, and resilience.
• Implement testing strategies and contribute to shared best practices across the team.
• Technical Leadership
• Lead by example through code reviews, mentoring, and sharing best practices.

🧩 What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of mobile development experience, with strong expertise in React Native in a production environment.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and native module integration.
• Strong communication in English (French is a plus).
• Ideally based in Paris, but we're open to remote position based in France.
