WE ARE LOOKING FOR AI Adoption Mentor — Test Automation & QA

Unikie is looking for an AI Adoption Mentor — Test Automation & QA to support our customers testing and QA teams in Tampere.

The goal of this role is to help testing professionals and software engineers use AI tools more effectively in their daily work. You will work directly with the customer team, understand how they currently use AI, identify practical improvement areas, and mentor the team in hands-on AI usage.

This is not a pure testing role and not a generic AI training role. We are looking for a senior technical person who combines testing/QA experience, practical AI tool usage, customer collaboration, and mentoring skills.

What You Will Do

• Assessing how the testing and QA team currently uses AI tools
• Identifying practical AI use cases in testing and quality engineering workflows
• Mentoring testers, QA engineers, and developers in effective use of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar
• Supporting AI-assisted test case generation, test design, test coverage analysis, bug investigation, and documentation
• Helping the team use AI to analyze requirements, specifications, logs, bug descriptions, symptoms, and possible root causes
• Exploring ways to use AI with tools and data such as Polarion, GitHub repositories, commits, and test results
• Helping the team create safe and practical prompting practices for testing work
• Running hands-on workshops, demos, and individual coaching sessions
• Supporting team-level AI adoption, not only individual tool usage
• Turning observations and feedback into concrete improvement proposals
• Acting as a trusted technical advisor between Unikie and the customer
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in software testing, QA, test automation, or quality engineering
• Good understanding of test design, test coverage, bug analysis, requirements analysis, and test automation workflows
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in software engineering or testing work
• Experience mentoring, coaching, onboarding, leading, or supporting technical teams
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly and practically
• Confidence to work directly with customer teams
• Ability to work independently in unclear situations and structure the work step by step
• Fluent English communication skills
• Willingness to work onsite with customer teams in Tampere
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience as a QA Lead, Test Automation Lead, Test Architect, QA Architect, or Senior Test Automation Engineer
• Experience with Polarion or other requirements/test management tools
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, development workflows, or engineering productivity tools
• Experience using AI for test generation, specification analysis, log analysis, bug/root-cause investigation, documentation, or test automation support
• Experience with industrial software, machinery, automotive, robotics, embedded systems, autonomous systems, or similar domains
• Experience running technical workshops or internal enablement sessions
• Finnish language skills
