Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Application Developer to join a modern engineering team within a leading organization in Belgium. This is an urgent role, offering the opportunity to work in an agile environment focused on building and maintaining scalable applications using modern development practices and cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, frontend experience with React or Angular, and be comfortable working with APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based development environments. Candidates must be native-level Dutch or French speakers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications.
• Build and enhance backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React or Angular.
• Design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs.
• Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and code reviews.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to cloud-based application development and deployment.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
• Hands-on frontend development experience with React or Angular.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and modern engineering environments.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Mandatory Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Dutch or French (Mandatory).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a modern software engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector.
• Experience with cloud-native application development.
• Understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
