Role summary
Our client, a purpose-driven scale-up is reimagining its core product offering. They are seeking a Product Manager to help define how the product will be delivered in alignment with high-level strategic goals and execute on it.

Working directly with senior product leaders, and squads incorporating design, engineering, and data teams, you will contribute to creating a platform that addresses marketplace matching, rostering, messaging, and payments. This is a unique opportunity to influence delivery practices and outcomes during a critical growth phase, bringing innovation, agility, and structured thinking to the reimagining process. Given the marketplace focus, prior experience with marketplace platform dynamics and supply-demand workflows is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of a newly reimagined product platform, translating strategy into practical delivery plans.
  • Define and prioritise features that enable scalable, accessible marketplace matching and workflows.
  • Partner with engineering and design to develop high-quality, reliable, and user-focused solutions.
  • Contribute to shaping the "how" of delivery, aligning processes with design thinking and agile principles.
  • Use data, user insights, and experimentation to guide continuous improvement and validate new approaches.
  • Actively engage stakeholders across technical, business, and operational teams to align priorities and ensure smooth delivery.

About you

  • Experience in product management within marketplace environments
  • Strong marketplace expertise, particularly around supply-demand workflows and platform architecture.
  • Experience working in a scale-up setting, contributing to product reformulation and innovative delivery methods.
  • Technical fluency, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams and influence system design.
  • Proven ability to manage delivery amidst ambiguity and evolving strategic directions.
  • Data-driven decision-making, with a focus on measuring and optimising delivery impact.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with a collaborative approach to defining "how" in delivery.
  • Relevant qualifications in product management, business, or related fields are preferred.
