As Part Of Corporate Services Division, The Digital Services Team Works Closely With Internal Stakeholders, Central Agencies, External Statutory Authorities And Portfolio Partners To

  • lead the department’s digital strategy to advance agency and whole of government priorities
  • establish and assure ICT governance, compliance and assurance frameworks that ensure the security, resilience and quality of the department’s ICT portfolio
  • drive digital maturity and capability uplift across the agency including leveraging emerging technologies to improve productivity and business outcomes
  • ensure the effective and efficient operation of key information systems that support the department’s strategic priorities.


You will join a dynamic team environment focused on digital services and ICT governance, compliance, and assurance frameworks within the department's ICT portfolio. The Business Systems team provides contemporary system management, support, advisory, data management and reporting services to enable the department to achieve its objectives and meet its corporate governance requirements.

In This Role You Will

  • Manage the Business Systems team to deliver high quality service and support across a range of Software as a Service (SaaS) and internal business systems ensuring alignment to agency strategic priorities and deliverables.
  • Provide leadership to the Business Systems team including fostering a shared commitment to the vision and values the department.
  • Manage the planning, development, procurement, configuration, implementation and monitoring of the delivery of programs using SaaS and business systems.
  • Manage SaaS and internal business systems to ensure they operate in accordance with relevant legislation, whole of government ICT governance


standards and compliance frameworks, strategic objectives, policies and contemporary best practice standards.

  • Negotiate effective outcomes with a range of key business and technical stakeholders including third party suppliers to ensure the efficient, effective implementation/configuration of systems.
  • Manage contracts to ensure all KPI's are delivered.
  • Foster a culture of cooperation, teamwork, high quality people management, commitment to excellence and a professional ethic which ensures that agency priorities are achieved.
  • Lead by example in ensuring direct reports and staff demonstrate the agreed to principles of honesty, trust, accountability, transparency and inclusiveness.
  • Contribute to a workplace culture based on values and behaviours, ensuring a positive work environment that is safe, healthy, diverse, respectful and inclusive.
