About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Next.js expertise to lead frontend development while contributing to backend and cloud components. This role is approximately 80% frontend-focused (Next.js/React ecosystem) and 20% backend/cloud (Java/Spring Boot + AWS), ideal for a full-stack engineer who excels at building modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences backed by robust cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
2. Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance UI components.
3. Develop and enhance backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
4. Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and microservices.
5. Work with AWS services to deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-native applications.
6. Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
7. Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
8. Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application performance and scalability.
9. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

Required Skills & Experience

1. 5+ years of software engineering experience.
2. Strong experience with:

• Next.js
• TypeScript and JavaScript
• HTML5, CSS3

1. Hands-on experience with:

• Java
• Spring Boot
• RESTful APIs and Microservices

1. Experience with AWS services such as:

• EC2
• S3
• Lambda
• RDS
• CloudWatch
• ECS/EKS (preferred)

1. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
2. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
3. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
