Key Responsibilities

  • PI Planning & Coach Syncs: Prepare teams for PI Planning events, facilitate team breakouts, and support the Release Train Engineer.
  • Team Events: Facilitate daily stand‑ups, iteration planning, backlog refinement, and other time‑boxed ceremonies.
  • Inspect & Adapt: Lead iteration reviews, retrospectives, and problem‑solving workshops.
  • Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized backlog of ready items.
  • Coaching: Improve team ways of working, resolve dependencies/impediments, and foster conflict resolution.
  • Servant Leadership: Ensure accountability for Kanban boards, progress tracking, and adoption of SAFe practices.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, impediments, and dependencies.
  • Culture Building: Create an inclusive environment that promotes psychological safety and open collaboration.
  • Continuous Delivery: Promote DevOps best practices and support the move toward a continuous delivery pipeline.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Use delivery metrics, team health, and customer satisfaction data to track improvements.

Mandatory Skills / Experience

  • Recognized Scrum certification (PSM I/II or CSM/A‑CSM).
  • 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master on technology teams delivering digital/data products.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Experience working in cross‑functional teams within regulated or complex environments (e.g., OT, construction, portfolio/program settings).
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
  • Proven track record of improving delivery capabilities, increasing throughput, and improving team flow.
  • Ability to use metrics and BI tools (e.g., dashboards, reporting) for evidence‑based decisions.
  • Experience in matrix organizations with onshore/offshore teams, ideally mobilizing new teams.
  • Exposure to TDD/BDD and CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to coach at multiple levels (team and senior stakeholders).
