You will design for a complex industrial software platform used across customer-facing applications, administrative workflows, data-rich interfaces, and operational tools. The work requires the ability to move from ambiguous product needs and technical constraints into clear workflows, intuitive interfaces, prototypes, and production-ready design specifications.
You will work closely with product managers, engineers, domain experts, and customer-facing teams to create high-quality platform experiences, refine designs based on user and business feedback, and help establish reusable patterns that make Max Platform easier to use, scale, and extend.

Responsibilities
- Own UX, UI, and interaction design for key Max Platform experiences.
- Design customer-facing workflows across platform navigation, administration, analytics, product discovery, and cross-application workflows.
- Translate product requirements, customer problems, and technical platform capabilities into clear flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready design specifications.
- Create interaction patterns for complex workflows such as onboarding, account setup, user and permission management, application switching, data configuration, product discovery, notifications, and workflow handoffs between applications.
- Design AI-assisted product experiences that help users complete tasks, analyze data, understand system behavior, and make better operational decisions.
- Partner with product managers and stakeholders to make platform capabilities easier to discover, adopt, and use.
- Partner with engineering to ensure designs are technically feasible, consistent with platform architecture, and specific enough to reduce implementation ambiguity.
- Define reusable platform design patterns for navigation, administration, configuration, data views, dashboard workflows, application templates, and cross-product experiences.
- Maintain design quality across the platform while supporting fast execution by distributed engineering teams.
- Use customer feedback, product analytics, support signals, and internal stakeholder input to improve platform workflows over time.
- Use AI-enabled design, research, and prototyping tools to accelerate exploration, improve design quality, and reduce time from concept to validated direction.
- Help establish a practical design system and component usage model that supports consistency without slowing product delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or related field.
- The ideal candidate should have 5–10 years of design experience.
- Senior product design experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, industrial software, platform products, data products, or complex workflow applications.
- Strong UX, UI, and interaction design skills, with a portfolio showing end-to-end product work from problem framing through shipped designs.
- Experience designing complex workflows, administration experiences, configuration tools, dashboards, data-heavy interfaces, or multi-application product experiences.
- Experience designing integrated AI experiences that support task completion, data analysis, decision-making, recommendations, or guided workflows.
- Ability to turn ambiguous requirements into structured flows, prototypes, interaction models, and production-ready design details.
- Strong Figma capability, including component usage, design systems, prototyping, and developer handoff.
- Competency with AI toolkits and the ability to integrate them effectively into the design process to expedite delivery and improve the quality of the user experience.
- Ability to work closely with product managers, engineers, domain experts, customer-facing teams, and senior stakeholders.
- Practical understanding of accessibility, responsive design, state handling, error handling, permissions, and usability for operational users.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design tradeoffs without hiding behind design jargon.
- Experience with industrial technology, IIoT, energy, drilling, production, connected equipment, or operational data workflows.
- Experience designing platform experiences used by multiple applications or internal/external teams.
- Experience with embedded analytics, dashboard builders, application development environments, or configurable workflow tools.
- Experience working in environments where UX must connect product strategy, technical constraints, field workflows, and business outcomes.
