PHP Developer

Galen College of Nursing is looking for a Full‑Stack Web Application Developer to help build and support custom applications that power our students, faculty, and healthcare partners.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain full‑stack web applications (backend, frontend, APIs, databases)
• Develop using MVC patterns (PHP or C#)
• Create and maintain APIs, web interfaces, and database structures
• Support and enhance existing internal applications
• Research and implement new technologies
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and assist with upgrades, migrations, and documentation
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of web/software development experience
• Server‑side experience in PHP or C# (PHP preferred; C# welcomed)
• Frontend experience with Angular or similar frameworks
• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and database tools
• Experience with GitHub or similar tools
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
• Highly organized, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects

Nice to Have

• Experience in higher education environments
• Familiarity with web security, architecture, and modern development practices
