Product Manager

Metrics Recruitment is partnering with a market-leading blockchain infrastructure company backed by top-tier VCs. We are seeking a technical Product Manager to own a developer-facing API product that powers cross-chain value transfer for wallets, exchanges, and institutional clients.

You'll be one of the first product hires at a company shifting from services revenue to a product-led SaaS model. You'll work directly with engineering on API design and tradeoffs, own the roadmap from 0→1, and expand your scope across a portfolio of API products as the platform matures. This role is for PMs who treat the API as the product and sweat the details of the developer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own a core value transfer API end-to-end: vision, roadmap, requirements, and execution.
• Work directly with partners and integrators who have adopted the API to identify pain points, integration challenges, and competitive gaps.
• Partner deeply with engineering: read code-level designs, participate in architecture discussions, and push back on tradeoffs.
• Extend the roadmap beyond the current quarter and articulate the path from 0.5 to 1.0.
• Grow into ownership and influence across multiple adjacent API products.

Requirements

• Owned a developer-facing API as the product itself, not API integration work as part of a broader product.
• Crypto-native or strongly crypto-adjacent: you understand the players, the exchange/wallet dynamics, and how developers build on blockchain infrastructure.
• 3–6+ years of product management experience on API, developer, or infrastructure products.
• AI-native workflow for rapid prototyping, AI-assisted coding, and fast iteration.
• Comfortable operating with high ambiguity in a low-process, fast-moving environment.

Nice to Have

• Software engineering background before moving into product (2–5 years).
• CS degree or equivalent technical depth.
• Experience shipping API-first products to regulated financial institutions.

Compensation: Top of market + liquid token allocation

Location: Vancouver, BC. Relocation and visa fully covered. NYC possible for exceptional candidates.
