FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Fullstack Developer at BUSUP, you will design, build, and maintain modern web

applications across the entire stack. You'll contribute to the continuous evolution of our platform, working on both frontend and backend systems to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

You will collaborate closely with Product, UX/UI, QA, and Engineering teams to develop new features, improve existing systems, and help shape the future of our technology.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using Vue.js, JavaScript, and Blade.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP and Laravel.
• Design and implement reusable UI components and shared libraries.
• Develop, document, and version REST APIs and backend services.
• Implement business logic, validations, authorization flows, and integrations.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, caching, and rendering times.
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and contract tests.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Refactor legacy code and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous delivery and product quality.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required

• +4 years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Solid knowledge of Vue.js and modern JavaScript.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL optimization.
• Understanding of REST APIs and web architecture principles.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of caching strategies and performance optimization.
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Exposure to microservices or modular architectures.
• Experience working in agile environments.
