Are you ready to play a key role in industrial relations within our HR department? We are looking for an experienced professional who builds trusted, constructive relationships with works councils, unions, and other stakeholders across Belgium and Luxembourg.
This role sits at the center of social dialogue, combining stakeholder partnership, compliance, and practical implementation to support sustainable employee relations.
Your Responsibilities:
As the Industrial Relations Associate Manager, you will contribute directly to maintaining and strengthening positive employee and works council relations. You will support effective social dialogue by ensuring strong governance, consistent practices, and compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
In this role, you will:
Define, implement, and maintain a centralized, coordinated industrial relations strategy aligned with business needs and the HR roadmap
Build and maintain partnerships with works councils, labor unions, and employee representatives to support clear communication and effective collaboration
Work closely with the HR Director, Employee Relations Managers, and HRBPs on social and labor law matters, helping ensure people practices are consistent with organizational values and objectives
Lead collective labor agreements (CLAs) end-to-end—from preparation and negotiation to follow-up and implementation
Support strong implementation of CLAs through structured, transparent communication and collaboration across HR teams
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies, including reviewing and validating formal HR documents (e.g., work regulations, employment contracts, and related documentation)
Your Team and Environment:
You will work closely with the Employee Relations team within Human Resources and partner regularly with colleagues across Corporate Functions, including Legal, Finance, and Information Management. Together, we aim to improve collaboration, strengthen governance, and support consistent employee relations practices across the organization.
Your background
We are looking for a professional who combines sound judgment with a practical, solutions-oriented approach and who is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a structured and respectful way.
You bring:
Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build alignment and handle sensitive topics with professionalism
Between 7 and 10 years of proven experience working with works councils and labor unions, including formal consultation processes and social dialogue
Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures, and the ability to translate legal frameworks into clear, workable guidance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
If you enjoy building constructive social dialogue and supporting practical, compliant solutions, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across Belgium and Luxembourg. Join us to strengthen employee relations through trust, clarity, and consistent implementation.
