Artificial Intelligence Specialist

Role Overview

The AI Specialist will focus on model development, experimentation, and applied research within the field of Artificial Intelligence. The role centers on exploring, prototyping, and fine-tuning AI models, with a strong emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs), and collaborating closely with AI Engineers to transition validated approaches into production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and evaluate AI/ML models, with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Work with open-source LLMs such as LLaMA, Mistral, and Falcon.
• Design and develop proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions to validate AI use cases and technical approaches.
• Fine-tune models for domain-specific applications.
• Conduct applied research in LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic AI systems.
• Analyze model performance and propose improvements.
• Stay up to date with advancements in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers to support the transition of models into production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning principles.
• Proficiency in Python and either PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Hands-on experience with transformer architectures and Large Language Models.
• Experience with model fine-tuning, embeddings, and evaluation techniques.
• Ability to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on experimental ideas.
• Strong analytical thinking and research-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with model optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, and distillation.
• Experience with embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search architectures.
• Exposure to multimodal or vision-language models.
• Experience in industrial-scale or complex enterprise AI environments.
