Backend Software Engineer

We're working with an ambitious startup with a clear vision, dedicated to developing advanced software systems in the medical field. With the goal of promoting the best possible care for patients, they are looking for engaged IT experts who are ready to help shape the future of medical care.

The Role

  • Develop and implement new microservices in C# or Java/Kotlin
  • Develop APIs (e.g., REST, gRPC)
  • Design and develop a scalable NoSQL database application
  • Integrate microservices into existing systems and infrastructures
  • Automate tests, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
  • Develop and document data security measures
  • Collaborate closely with Frontend Developers and other teams to develop high-quality software solutions

What You'll Need

  • Completed technical education (Computer Science degree) or proven experience in backend system development, especially with microservice architecture
  • Excellent know-how in developing complex software components
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, e.g., MongoDB
  • Knowledge of multiple programming languages (Java, Kotlin, C#)
  • Knowledge in developing and implementing APIs (e.g., REST, gRPC)
  • Experience with containerized applications and orchestration systems like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Team player, strong communication skills, and ability to adapt to new technologies and challenges
  • Good German and English language skills
