Senior Developer – Golang / Claude Code / API Integration

Acropolium, together with its international partner, is looking for an experienced Senior Developer with strong expertise in Golang, Claude Code, and API integration to join a strategic software development initiative.

This opportunity has arisen due to project-specific requirements that require deep technical expertise in modern backend development, AI-assisted engineering workflows, and complex system integrations.

The project focuses on building and enhancing scalable services, integrating multiple systems through modern APIs, and leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve delivery efficiency and code quality.

Project Details

• Start Date: July 1, 2026
• Duration: Until December 31, 2026 (extension possible)
• Location: 100% Remote
• Workload: Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Project Language: German

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance backend applications using Golang
• Design and implement modern API interfaces and integration solutions
• Connect and integrate internal and external systems through APIs
• Utilize Claude Code and AI-assisted development workflows to improve productivity and automation
• Analyze, optimize, and further develop existing architectures and services
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and performance
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and technical teams
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Developer in complex software projects
• Strong commercial experience with Golang
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Strong background in API integrations and interface architectures
• Experience with service-oriented and distributed system architectures
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code and AI-assisted development workflows
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
• Experience working in agile environments
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent German (mandatory)
• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience with event-driven architectures
• Experience with cloud environments and modern DevOps practices
• Experience with microservices-based systems
• Knowledge of AI-assisted software development methodologies
• Experience working on integration-heavy enterprise projects
