Chief Operations Officer & Co-Founder (St. Gallen, full-time)

Are you ready to take the reins of operations in a rapidly scaling tech startup? LocalBini is seeking a Chief Operations Officer (COO) to join as a co-founder and drive the heart of our business operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on executing, optimizing, and innovating, while preparing the organization for its next phase of growth.

What You Will Do

As COO, you will take ownership of LocalBini’s operations, ensuring everything runs seamlessly while spearheading efficiency improvements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Daily Operational Management: a) Manage customer service via Zendesk and phone hotline, ensuring excellence in traveler and local interactions. b) Process bookings, refine documentation, and maintain high operational standards. c)Manage relationships with locals and travelers, from onboarding and reactivation to satisfaction checks.
• Process Optimization: a) Analyze and refine current operational workflows, integrating AI tools where relevant. b) Develop and implement strategies for improving productivity and scaling efficiency. c)Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of operations.
• Scale-Up Leadership: a) Design and execute scalable operational systems to prepare LocalBini for rapid expansion. b) Ensure quality and consistency as the business scales in size and complexity.
• Strategic Contribution: a) Work closely with the CEO and other team members to align operational initiatives with overall company goals. b) Support cross-functional projects, ensuring operations remain a driver of growth and innovation.

ABOUT YOU

• Completed Master degree.
• At least five years of relevant work experience with a demonstrated track record to manage complex projects and drive operational efficiency.
• Hands on and willing to roll up your sleeves and take on tasks, big and small, to ensure operational excellence.
• Being able to execute (“just-do-it”).
• Proficient skills in English and German.
• Familiarity with implementing AI tools in operational contexts is a strong plus.

WE OFFER

A unique opportunity to join our team as co-founder in St. Gallen (on-site) with 100% focus on operations and being part of a scale up phase (we plan to complete a significant VC round at the end of 2026 / early 2027).

With a salary package that consists of cash + shares worth CHF 96k in the first year and CHF 144k in the second one.
