Who We Are Looking For?
As a HR Executive, he/she will manage a wide range of human resource functions, including end-to-end recruitment and employee life cycle for office employees. He/she will also be responsible for HR reporting and employee engagement initiatives, while playing a key role in driving employer branding.
What Awaits You:
Recruitment and Manpower Management
- Collaborate closely with department heads and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and execute end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding
- Regularly review and update job descriptions to ensure relevance to evolving roles and responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring timely documentation of all employee life cycle movements
- Coordinate the renewal and cancellation of work passes for non-Singaporean employees in compliance with local regulations
HR Operations and Office Administration
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related matters, providing timely and accurate support in accordance with company policies
- Support leave and benefits administration, leave migration exercise, and performance management coordination
- Manage renewals related to corporate passes and external vendors
- Liaise with educational institutions to coordinate and manage the internship programme
- Maintain and improve the buddy programme to enhance onboarding experiences and support employee retention
- Undertake any other ad-hoc projects, initiatives, and events
HR Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of HR reports, including headcount updates, organization charts, HR activity trackers, employee leave records, and birthday and confirmation-related reports
- Handle submissions for MOM-related surveys and other regulatory reporting requirements
- Maintain the Group HQ staff directory on a monthly basis
- Stay informed on HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
Employee Engagement and Employer Branding
- Plan and organise employee engagement activities, festive celebrations, wellness initiatives, and other internal events to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Create and manage content for social media platform to highlight company culture and support employer branding efforts
- Contribute ideas and support initiatives aimed at strengthening team culture and the overall employee experience
We Are Excited About You If You Have:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity, of which 1 year of recruitment experience
- Prior experience in the retail industry is an advantage
- Good understanding of Singapore employment laws and fair employment practices
- Meticulous and organized, with high drive and integrity; willing to be hands-on
- Proactive, with a strong sense of urgency; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Works independently with minimal supervision while being a dedicated team player
- Good in numerical acumen
- Comfortable interacting with people at all levels
- Proficient in MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Excellent command of English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective interviewing, coordination, and counselling & grievance handling skills
- Strong follow-up skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Digitally inclined
