This is a business with genuine momentum behind it — record bookings and revenue, 5,000+ active enterprise customers globally, sales and support teams across 30 countries, and customer installations in 80+ countries.
The company is profitable, debt-free, continuing to win large enterprise deals, and has built a strong reputation around customer retention, product innovation and market disruption. Recent public updates also highlighted its best-ever Q1 bookings and revenue, 177 new customers in Q1 2026, 80 six- and seven-figure new logo deals, and 21 consecutive quarters of positive P&L, EBITDA and free cash flow.
They are now looking for a Senior Systems Engineer / Pre-Sales Specialist to support growth across Denmark and Norway.
This is a home-based role, but it is very much a customer-facing position. You’ll be expected to spend time with enterprise customers, partners, resellers and distributors across the region, acting as the technical lead throughout the sales cycle.
The opportunity
This is a big-impact role for the Nordics.
You’ll be joining a business with strong international momentum, but still with significant room to grow across Denmark and Norway. The sales team need a strong technical partner who can help shape opportunities, build trust with customers, support partners and bring real credibility into technical conversations.
This is not a back-office technical role. You’ll be in front of customers, running workshops, delivering demos, supporting POCs, handling technical objections and helping customers understand how the platform can solve real challenges around backup, recovery, ransomware resilience, storage performance and long-term data retention.
For someone who enjoys being close to the customer, influencing deals and having a visible impact in a growing region, this is a very strong opportunity.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll act as the trusted technical advisor across Denmark and Norway, working closely with the regional sales team to help win new enterprise customers and develop the partner ecosystem.
Day to day, this will include:
- Supporting enterprise sales cycles from technical discovery through to close
- Delivering customer presentations, product demonstrations and technical workshops
- Running POCs and helping customers validate the technology in their own environments
- Designing and sizing solutions based on customer backup, storage and recovery requirements
- Supporting RFPs, RFIs and technical proposals
- Working with customers around backup performance, ransomware recovery, immutability, retention and disaster recovery
- Helping position the technology against major competitors in the market
- Enabling reseller and partner technical teams across the region
- Working closely with sales, post-sales and support to deliver a strong customer experience
- Becoming a visible technical presence across the Denmark and Norway market
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone already operating in a customer-facing technical role, ideally as a:
Senior Systems Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Solution Consultant or similar.
You’ll need to be technically strong, commercially aware and confident presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role needs someone who can explain complex infrastructure topics clearly, build trust quickly and help customers understand the value of the solution.
The strongest candidates will bring experience across areas such as:
- Backup, recovery, disaster recovery or data protection
- Enterprise storage, backup appliances or secondary storage
- Ransomware resilience, immutability, air-gapped recovery or cyber recovery
- Infrastructure, virtualisation, data centre or enterprise IT environments
- Pre-sales demos, POCs, workshops, discovery and solution design
- Working with technologies such as Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup, Rubrik, Cohesity, Dell Data Domain, HPE StoreOnce or similar
- Supporting channel partners, resellers or distributors
- Working across Denmark, Norway or the wider Nordic market
You don’t need to tick every single box, but you do need to have strong pre-sales capability, solid infrastructure knowledge and the confidence to own the technical side of a complex enterprise sales cycle.
