Network Security Engineer

✍️ WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

• At least 3/4 years of experience in IT within a large enterprise environment
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, packet capture, and configuration of network and security devices
• Solid experience with: WAN, LAN, WLAN
• VPN and Remote Access solutions
• Firewalls (configuration and troubleshooting), Palo Alto preferred.
• Internet Proxies, load balancers, data centers (Cisco ACI preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex network and security incidents (L2 support)
• Experience working with network monitoring and management tools
• Good understanding of network security concepts (DMZs, VLANs, partner connections, etc.)
• Familiarity with corporate security standards, Computer Systems Validation & Compliance rules, and internal IT processes
• Ability to lead cross-functional technical task forces and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a problem-solving attitude
• Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written); any additional language is a plus

👉 WHAT WILL YOU DO? 👈

• Provide second-level technical support for Network and Security Services, including: WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN
• DMZs and partner connections
• Firewalls, Internet Proxies, Remote Access and VPN
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and packet capture analysis to resolve complex incidents
• Prepare and document incident reports, ensuring proper escalation and follow-up until resolution
• Lead infrastructure cross-functional task forces for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service improvement initiatives
• Conduct proactive monitoring of network and security infrastructure, using available tools to: Identify trends and recurring issues
• Detect and resolve events before they impact users
• Contribute to problem analysis and continuous improvement of network and security services
• Ensure that operational tickets and projects comply with: Corporate security standards
• Computer Systems Validation & Compliance rules
• Internal working instructions and standard processes
• Collaborate closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure service reliability and performance
