Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Software Engineer, New Grad to work on a full-time basis. This early-career role is designed for recent graduates to build real products while contributing to and gradually owning core product features end-to-end. The position focuses on improving an AI recruiter agent, shaping its operations, scalability, and delivery of value to users, with mentorship from experienced engineers. The work directly impacts the development of frontier AI models by enabling domain experts to contribute training data, evaluations, and feedback loops across domains like finance, healthcare, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop fullstack systems powering core product workflows with guidance from senior engineers.

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs, emphasizing clean, maintainable code and scalability.

• Develop and ship user-facing features and interfaces that directly serve real users.

• Support data modeling efforts to optimize database performance and scalability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and refine AI-driven workflows.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of an AI recruiter agent used globally.

• Adhere to best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

• Work within PST timezone overlap to ensure seamless collaboration with global teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field from a recent graduation (within the last 2 years).

• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with hands-on experience in React for building user interfaces.

• Experience developing backend services using Node.js and RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, specifically AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, and RDS.

• Knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL and query optimization techniques.

• Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write efficient, maintainable code.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced AI-driven environment.
